Director’s Message
Greetings my DHOG brothers and sisters,
I don’t know about ya’ll but this heat is awful. It does have a tendency to reduce the number of participants in our activities. However, this month’s chapter meeting was a very good turnout. Congrats to all those who won some nice gifts and THANK YOU every one for coming out.
On a sadder note I want to thank everyone who participated in the funeral service and procession for our brother Bill Stokes. He will be missed. And thank you also to those who wanted to participate but couldn’t make it.
We are also mourning the loss of another of our brothers, Gene Barnes, who passed away recently. Please say a prayer or spend a quiet moment for Gene.
On a lighter note, this Saturday is the St Michaels Car and Bike show. We will leave the Dealer at 830 a.m. for those who want to ride as a group. If you can’t make that, then please just come out when you can. Let’s please make a showing for this event since I’ve already bragged about ya’ll to the sponsors. There will be vendors inside where it’s cooler along with food and live music. Please, join me in supporting the St. Michael’s Altar Society.
Don’t forget about the upcoming American Dolls and Pinups Contest at the Dealer, Saturday the 15th. I have not heard of any need for volunteers for this event but I’ll let all of you know if I do.
Don’t forget the dinner rides on Thursdays. That’s our time to hang out and have fun together. If anyone has a suggestion for a new place to eat, just email me at director@dallashog.com and we’ll check it out. And hey, if you have anything to talk about, then just call me or email. I’m here for all of you. Whether it’s a dealer issue or otherwise.
