  We all buy bikes for different purposes. I have owned Suzuki’s, Honda’s, BMW’s, Yamaha’s and two Harleys for one reason, to see the backroads of America for the past +45 yrs. Latest trip, solo 7108 mi in 15 Days. What a trip! Mother Nature threw everything at me. Seventy plus mph winds East of Laramie, Wyoming at the Sherman Summit. Flurries and Sleet on the Elk Bend pass in Idaho, lots of rain that slowed me down some, no surprise in the NW. Mid 50's to over 100 degrees in a matter of hours.

Happy New Year to the DHOG Family! We’ve kicked off the year with a bang, starting with the Directors Ride, followed by an enjoyable Party After, and, of course, the much-anticipated Kerry Turner Annual Chili Cookoff. Between these events, we’ve also squeezed in a few weekend rides, keeping the spirit of riding alive.

2016 Great Southwest motorcycle trip

This year, we are participating in RIDE 365! We collect miles not only as individuals, but as a Chapter.  The more of our members that register for Ride 365, the more miles we can record!  There are great incentives for all.  Please take a few minutes to drop by Dallas Harley-Davidson with your VIN and Odometer reading to make sure you are registered.  This is different from the regular Mileage Program, so even if you are already registered for the Mileage Program, you still need to register for Ride 365.

We are happy to announce the launch of our new website! Dallas Texas Chapter has joined the HOG[SCAN] family.  This new website and software will allow us to reduce our paperwork, and improve our operations, with new membership managment and participaton tracking tools.
